Constant Reminder

Right here this shaker is a reminder that I worked hard!! That for 365 days I was working on me!! Not everyday went as planned and not every day was my healthiest but this shaker is a constant reminder that I never gave up!!! It was one of the hardest years in my life to stay fully committed to a program when all I wanted to do was crumble! I never gave up!! My Dad is always in my heart ( as Mom is too)! They are my motivation to live a healthier life than they did! This year imma totally earn that 2nd year cup by pushing harder and commitment. Commitment to my Coach, my team, my family and most of all to myself! Self- doubt doesn’t live here anymore what does is a badass chick with goals and dreams to be made!!! This chick is going all in ….. and when I walk across that stage …. yes I said walk …. imma make my parents so proud up in heaven and the rest of my support team!!! DAY 9 – Good Morning! ☕️

DAY 9 – 2 hard boiled eggs, toasted 100 calorie multi grain English muffin w/ 1 triangle laughing cow smoke Gouda and a cup of black coffee plus water. Sticking to my morning routine cause I found what’s working for me. So yesterday I took a rest day my body needed it. Went food shopping with my sis great deal I got some more English muffins they were buy 1 get 2 free 🙌 laughing cow was 2 for 5 🙌 see a sign to stick with it girl 💪💪 I also changed having my Shakeology as a snack to satisfy my craving! DAY 7 – Rest Day….. NOT!!!

DAY 7 – Woke up sore AF!! Today was to be a rest day but I wasn’t having it!!! So I did @coredeforce MMA Speed , then I did my own combos on the Pilates chair you can do like you’re on a bike. I went slow on each move for 1 minute then I would go it fast for 1 minute …. did this for 20 minutes…. still working on building strength in my legs without risking injuring myself. What Do You Listen To?

What gets you going??? I need to listen to music when I workout. When I follow a workout program for the first time I do without music to follow what they say and their tips. It bores the hell out of me. Keep checking the time and fidgety! Now I watch the program first without doing it just watch and make my mental notes. Then when I’m ready I put my music on LOUD and sweat it out!

My favorite artist to listen to while doing cardio is Bruno Mars. There is something about the way this man sings and his energy in his music that just gets my body moving……lights me up! Energetic and smooth!

My favorite artist to listen to while doing weights is Rihanna. I totally love her music. I think she’s just straight up badass. Powerful in her music and in her career . Smart woman! She has her hands in everything making that money. No fear! Gets what she wants and works hard for it. That’s my opinion so no negative comments. Peoples personal lives are none of anyone’s business.

But I do switch it up. I have amazon prime music so I’ll put on Bruno Mars station or Rihanna so they play other artist like them. And yes some days you just have to go old school. I’ll throw on 80-90’s Hip Hop or 80-90’s Pop. But for like intense heavy weights I’ll throw on 80’s metal. Intense cardio I’ll throw on freestyle. All depends on my mood.

Music gets me through my workouts. If you don’t make it fun you just get bored and just stop all together cause you dread doing it. Make it fun and burn those calories baby!!
